Recently ran across Songbird - an Open-Source web-media browser. Seems to be a good alternative to winamp for online music.
On first glance, this seems to be in a nascent state. (Proof of Concept) Definitely a long way to go, before it gets a mention in the same breath as winamp or windows media player! Will give it a try anyways
