Pandora’s Music Box.

Ever wish for a radio station would play only your favorite music and let you skip over songs you don’t like?

The folks of The Music Genome Project have created a radio station called “Pandora” that does just that for it’s listeners.

Tell Pandora what songs and artists you like, and you’ll hear other songs that have musical characteristics similar to the ones you like. And if the system plays a song you don’t like, you can skip it! Pandora

Apparently, they’ve created a database of songs, tagged with descriptions for each track. The program picks out songs which are tagged with the same descriptions, as the songs on your favorite list.

The result is nothing short of awesome.

Whoops, I just noticed that :o . It would actually be quite easy for them to just ban all IPs outside the US. Thankfully, they haven’t :) .
